Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • Salt
  • 2 sheets nori seaweed (Look for this ingredient in an international or Asian grocery store)
  • Sesame seeds
  • Cooked salmon (optional)

Directions

  • Divide the rice into 4 parts and using your hands form each part into a ball or triangular-ball shape.
  • If you decide to fill with fish: use your thumb create an indent at the top of the ball. Fill the indent with cooked salmon and then use your fingers to press closed the hole.
  • Wrap each ball of rice with a strip of nori and then sprinkle with sesame seeds! Serve and enjoy!

    In the video we did not fill the Onigiri with fish.
